Universal Pictures has unveiled a promotional featurette for the upcoming film “Twisters,” slated to hit theaters later this month. Directed by Lee Isaac Chung, known for his work on “Minari,” the movie returns as a high-octane disaster epic set against the backdrop of tornadoes, nature’s awe-inspiring yet perilous phenomenon.
Starring Daisy Edgar-Jones as Kate Cooper, a former storm chaser turned researcher, the film follows her journey back to the heartland alongside Anthony Ramos, who plays Javi, her adventurous friend. Glen Powell takes on the role of Tyler Owens, a daring social-media storm chaser whose exploits push the limits of danger.
The ensemble cast also includes Brandon Perea, Sasha Lane, Daryl McCormack, Kiernan Shipka, Nik Dodani, and Maura Tierney, promising a dynamic portrayal of individuals drawn into the thrill and danger of tornado chasing.
