On July 28th, at 6 p.m., the Old Armory Recreation Center in Waynesville will resonate with the sounds of top-tier country music as two acclaimed entertainers take the stage.
Ronnie Call, a hometown hero and owner of Country Soul Entertainment, has orchestrated this special event to invigorate the local country music scene. Renowned for his own award-winning country music career, Call will perform alongside his band, The Waterz Edge.
Headlining the evening is Nashville recording artist Jeff Bates, known for his Billboard chart-topping hits such as “Long Slow Kisses,” “I Wanna Make You Cry,” “One Second Chance,” and memorable renditions of Conway Twitty classics.
Reflecting on his roots, Call remarked, “I grew up playing basketball at the old armory and also spent a summer working there as a teenager. As an adult country music artist, I’m looking to bring concert events in the Old Armory back to life.”
Tickets for this anticipated event are priced at $15 and can be purchased in advance at countrysoulevents.com or at the door. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. The Old Armory Recreation Center is located at 44 Boundary St., Waynesville.
