Gregory’s sister, Rebecca Gregory, confirmed the heartbreaking news that her brother was discovered in a parking lot at a Chase Bank in Peoria, Arizona, on June 13, 2024. Rebecca Gregory revealed that her brother had been grappling with significant personal challenges, including depression, bipolar disorder, and a severe sleep condition that caused prolonged periods of wakefulness. Close friends speculate that Benji Gregory may have gone to the bank on June 12 to deposit residual checks before falling asleep in his car. The intense summer heat in Arizona, where temperatures can soar to an average high of 41°C (106°F), might have tragically led to vehicular heatstroke.
