The Artsbridge Summer Music Series continues this Thursday at City Park, showcasing local talents Highway 7 and P.T. Dabbs on the bandshell stage from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.
Highway 7, a versatile trio known for their blend of bluegrass, classic rock, and contemporary hits, will headline the evening’s entertainment. The band, a regular fixture at local venues like the American Legion and J.P. Henry’s, promises an engaging performance drawing from a diverse musical repertoire. They have also been featured at notable events such as the Mothman Festival.
Opening the show will be P.T. Dabbs, a veteran performer with over 35 years of musical experience in the Mid-Ohio Valley. Dabbs, currently a member of Henrie Lane, has shared stages with prominent artists including 38 Special, Sammy Kershaw, and The Marshall Tucker Band. His set will kick off the evening’s festivities with his signature style that blends various genres and influences.
The concert, sponsored by the West Virginia Central Credit Union and the city of Parkersburg, will also feature several food vendors for attendees to enjoy throughout the event. Donations will be gratefully accepted to support the Artsbridge initiative.
