Rising Stars Backup Vocalist Ifidel Williams Passes Away

Ifidel Williams, known for his role as a backup vocalist on the popular TV show Digicel Rising Stars, has passed away. The announcement of his death on Sunday prompted a wave of tributes and expressions of sorrow on social media.

TV producer Yanique Brown mourned the loss on X, stating, “Rest in peace to a coworker who always brightened our days with a smile and a joke. Your laughter will be missed.”

Social media personality Lij Tafari also shared his grief, commenting, “Death hurts. But when you know someone was genuinely a good person? It hits way harder. That man blessed my two songs with his vocals. As recently as April. And took me to my first ever photoshoot and first ever studio session in Jamaica. & just suh? Thanks fi everything Ifidel.”
