by Barbara

British rock band Oasis confirmed on Tuesday their long-rumored reunion, with brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher set to perform a series of live shows in 2025. The announcement comes 15 years after the band’s split in 2009, when Noel Gallagher cited irreconcilable differences with his brother Liam.

The band revealed on social media platform that tickets for their tour will go on sale this Saturday. The first show is scheduled for July 4, 2025, in Cardiff, Wales. The tour will include 14 performances across Cardiff, Manchester, London, Edinburgh, and Dublin.

Oasis’s announcement follows a surge in global streaming, with Spotify reporting a 160% increase in plays during a two-hour window on Monday. The tour will celebrate the 30th anniversary of their seminal album, What’s the Story) Morning Glory?, which features iconic tracks like “Don’t Look Back in Anger” and “Wonderwall.” The album sold over 22 million copies worldwide and remains a significant milestone in the band’s career.
