Acclaimed director Alexandre Aja, known for hits like The Hills Have Eyes and Crawl, has partnered with the creators of Stranger Things for Lionsgate’s forthcoming horror thriller, Never Let Go. The film features Academy Award®-winner Halle Berry (Monster’s Ball, Gothica) and has just released a chilling new trailer.
In Never Let Go, Berry plays a mother who, alongside her two sons, must navigate a world overrun by evil. Their only sanctuary is their home, where they rely on their familial bond and a recurring chant featured in the trailer. The family uses ropes to stay connected, symbolizing their desperate need to hold onto each other amidst the chaos.
The film is penned by KC Coughlin and Ryan Grassby, whose previous work includes Stranger Things. Berry also serves as an executive producer alongside industry veteran Shawn Levy, known for Arrival and Free Guy.
The cast features Anthony B. Jenkins, Matthew Kevin Anderson, Percy Daggs IV, Christin Park, and Stephanie Lavigne.
Scheduled for release on September 27, 2024, Never Let Go promises to be a gripping addition to the horror genre.
