The upcoming season will feature an ensemble cast including William Gao, Yasmin Finney, Corinna Brown, Kizzy Edgell, Tobie Donovan, Jenny Walser, Rhea Norwood, and Leila Khan. The eight-episode series, based on the popular book series by Alice Oseman, follows the evolving dynamics among a group of friends as they navigate the complexities of adolescence.
As the summer break concludes, both Nick and Charlie face pivotal moments in their relationship. Charlie grapples with expressing his love for Nick, while Nick has significant news to share with Charlie. The new school year brings both excitement and challenges, prompting the friends to rely on each other as they plan social events, parties, and contemplate their future university choices.
The series is created and written by Alice Oseman, with Andy Newbery directing. The executive producers include Patrick Walters, Iain Canning, Emile Sherman, Alice Oseman, and Euros Lyn. The production is handled by See-Saw Films.
Season 3 of Heartstopper will premiere on Netflix on Thursday, October 3.
