Goldwyn Films has unveiled the official trailer for its upcoming action thriller, Absolution, which is scheduled to hit U.S. theaters on November 1, 2024. This film marks another addition to Liam Neeson’s impressive lineup this year, following his role in In the Land of Saints and Sinners.
Absolution follows an aging gangster enforcer, played by Neeson, as he strives to reconnect with his estranged children while attempting to amend for his past mistakes. However, the grip of the criminal underworld proves difficult to escape, as rival gangs threaten his efforts for redemption. The trailer showcases intense shootouts and gripping fight sequences, emphasizing the protagonist’s struggle to protect his family amidst relentless danger.
Directed by acclaimed Norwegian filmmaker Hans Petter Moland, known for In Order of Disappearance and Cold Pursuit, Absolution promises a solid cinematic experience.
