Breaking Glass Pictures is set to release the horror comedy Hayride to Hell on September 24, coinciding with the Halloween season. The film’s official trailer is being exclusively premiered today by Bloody Disgusting.
Featuring horror icons Bill Moseley and Kane Hodder, who previously collaborated on Old 37, Hayride to Hell promises to deliver a thrilling experience. Moseley, renowned for his performances in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 and House of 1000 Corpses, takes on the role of Farmer Sam, a character driven by a quest for revenge against unscrupulous locals. Hodder, famed for portraying Jason Voorhees in four Friday the 13th films, portrays the menacing Sheriff Jubel.
The plot unfolds on the Coxe Family Farm in rural Willis County, where Farmer Sam seeks bloody retribution against those threatening to seize his family’s land, which has been in their possession for over 200 years.
Directed by Dan Lantz, known for Alice and the Vampire Queen, Alpha Rift, and Bloodrunners, and written by Kristina Chadwick and Robert Lange, Hayride to Hell premiered in 2022 at the historic Colonial Theatre in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania. The film was shot on Lange’s family-owned Sugartown Strawberries Farm in Lavern, Pennsylvania, a site that has been part of the family since 1896.
Fans of the genre can look forward to experiencing this tribute to horror legends when the film becomes available on Digital and On Demand.
