Production is currently underway in and around Dublin for the upcoming Acorn TV series Irish Blood, which will feature Alicia Silverstone in the lead role. The series will consist of six one-hour episodes.
In addition to Silverstone, the cast includes prominent actors such as Wendy Crewson, Jason O’Mara, Dearbhla Molloy, Simone Kirby, Ruth Codd, and Leonardo Taiwo.
Speaking about the project, Silverstone shared her excitement: “Irish Blood tells the story of a woman on a journey of self-discovery as she confronts her past during an unexpected trip abroad. I love how unpredictable the storytelling is, and how it balances drama, humor, and suspense through my character’s experiences.”
