Abid Kashmiri, a distinguished figure in Pakistan’s entertainment industry, passed away in Lahore on Friday at the age of 74. His family confirmed that he had been suffering from significant health issues related to his kidneys and respiratory system for some time.

Kashmiri was a prominent actor with a remarkable career spanning theatre, television, and film. Renowned for his versatility, he garnered widespread acclaim for his performances across various platforms in the country’s entertainment sector.

He appeared in numerous television shows and stage productions throughout his career, but it was his role in the 1988 film Bazar-e-Husan that showcased his comedic talent and earned him a Nigar Award.
