A sequel to the film “Alien: Covenant” is in the works, with director Fede Alvarez and stars Carly Spaihts and David Ransom expected to return.
According to Steve Asbell, a top executive at 20th Century Studios, the project is still in the early stages, and they have not yet signed a formal contract with director Fede Alvarez. However, they are interested in signing him, and the sequel was his idea. Asbell also revealed that the sequel will focus on the future of the surviving characters from the first film, Rain (played by Carly Spaihts) and Andy (played by David Ransom).
Fans of the “Alien” franchise will be excited to hear that a sequel is in the works, and with the return of the director and stars, the film is sure to deliver the same level of suspense and horror as its predecessors.
