The Gotham Awards, a key precursor to the Oscar awards season, has unveiled its nominations.
“Arnola” takes the lead with four nominations, and A24 has several strong entries. Chinese director Guan Hu is nominated for best director for “Dog Formation”. Meanwhile, Saoirse Ronan, Demi Moore, Nicole Kidman, and Mckenna Grace are among those vying for acting awards.
The awards ceremony is set for December 2. The nominees for best picture include “Arnola”, “Darling”, “Challengers”, “A Different Man”, and “The Five Cent Boy”. In the best lead actor/actress category, there are stars like Pamela Anderson, Adrien Brody, Nicole Kidman, and others. The best supporting actor/actress nominees feature talented performers. There are also categories for best breakthrough performance, best director, best breakthrough director, best script, best documentary, and best international film.
