A Rising Star in NBC’s Lineup

Since its debut on November 12, St. Denis Medical has secured its position as NBC’s top new series of the broadcast season in the coveted 18-49 demographic, according to seven-day viewing statistics provided by the network. The premiere episode experienced an impressive 85% audience growth within its first week, while the second episode retained a solid 82% of the initial viewership, translating to approximately 3.3 million viewers in live-plus-same-day (L+SD) numbers.

In response to its strong performance, NBC expanded the first season’s episode count by five in June, reflecting the network’s confidence in the series’ potential.

Production and Scheduling

The show airs on Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT, serving as the lead-out to Night Court, which is currently in its third season. Episodes are also available for streaming on Peacock the following day.

Ledgin and Spitzer helm the production as showrunners and executive producers. They are joined by Simon Heuer, Ruben Fleischer, Bridget Kyle, and Vicky Luu in executive producing roles. The series is produced by Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group, in collaboration with Spitzer Holding Company.

As St. Denis Medical gears up for its midseason premiere, fans and newcomers alike can look forward to more heartwarming and comedic hospital escapades in the newly secured second season.
