Stephen Cognetti, director of the beloved Hell House LLC franchise, is continuing his partnership with Shudder through his latest supernatural horror project, 825 Forest Road.The streaming platform has secured the North American, UK-Ireland, and Australia-New Zealand rights to the film from the UK-based Blue Finch Films.
The film follows a man attempting to rebuild his life with his wife and sister following a family tragedy. However, their fresh start takes an unsettling turn when they discover the town they’ve moved to harbors its own sinister secrets.
While the premiere date for 825 Forest Road on Shudder remains unannounced, fans are eager for more details. Producers for the film include Joe Bandelli, Dana Guerin, and Cindi Rice of Epic Level Entertainment.
Cognetti is also returning to the Hell House LLC universe, with the fifth and potentially final installment, Hell House LLC: Lineage, set to release on Shudder in October 2025. The director has teased that this entry will be the “scariest” in the series yet.
