Amazon MGM Studios, in partnership with Excel Entertainment and Tiger Baby, has released the highly anticipated theatrical trailer for Superboys of Malegaon, an Original film inspired by a true story. Set in the small town of Malegaon, Maharashtra, the film follows Nasir Shaikh, an aspiring filmmaker who, along with his friends, transforms the town into a burgeoning filmmaking hub. Produced by Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar, Zoya Akhtar, and Reema Kagti, Superboys of Malegaon is directed by Reema Kagti and written by Varun Grover. The film features an impressive ensemble cast including Adarsh Gourav, Shashank Arora, Vineet Kumar Singh, Anuj Singh Duhan, Saqib Ayub, Pallav Singh, Manjiri Pupala, Muskkaan Jaferi, and Riddhi Kumar.
The movie is set to premiere in cinemas across India, the US, UK, UAE, Australia, and New Zealand on February 28, 2025.
