The terrifying summer camp horror film Marshmallow is set to hit theaters this spring, sending chills down the spine of audiences when it debuts on April 11, 2025.
In this chilling tale, Morgan, a 12-year-old introverted camper, finds himself trapped in a nightmare that blurs the line between fiction and reality. Set in a remote summer camp, the story takes a dark turn when a legendary campfire story comes to life. As a mysterious figure begins to stalk the campgrounds, Morgan, along with his new friends, must embark on a terrifying journey to face their deepest fears and confront an unimaginable force threatening their very existence.
The film stars Kue Lawrence (Beautiful Boy), Kai Cech (Dear Santa), Corbin Bernsen (The Dentist), and Max Malas (New Amsterdam). The project marks the feature directorial debut of Daniel DelPurgatorio, who brings the screenplay by Andy Greskoviak (Black Friday) to life. Special effects for the film are in the hands of Robert Kurtzman, known for his work on Fear Street and Black Friday.
Ahead of the film’s release, a new trailer has been unveiled, giving viewers a glimpse into the suspenseful journey of Morgan as he discovers the terrifying truth behind the campfire legend. Alongside the trailer, the film’s poster draws inspiration from The Thing, adding to the eerie atmosphere.
