Bruce Springsteen took to social media to share the news that he and the E Street Band will be rescheduling all remaining September tour dates, starting with the upcoming performance in Syracuse. This decision comes as Springsteen focuses on receiving treatment and addressing symptoms related to peptic ulcer disease.
Last month, the 73-year-old rock icon had already postponed two shows in Philadelphia due to falling ill, though the nature of his illness remained under wraps. Fortunately, those dates have now been rescheduled for August 2024.
Expressing his disappointment, Springsteen conveyed his heartfelt sentiments in a statement, saying, “Over here on E Street, we’re truly saddened to have to postpone these shows. Our sincerest apologies go out to our incredible Philly fans who were left disappointed a few weeks ago. We promise to come back stronger and deliver unforgettable performances. Originally scheduled to conclude on December 12 in San Francisco, the tour will now extend a little longer due to the postponement of the eight September shows.
