The 57th Annual Country Music Association Awards took place at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, honoring top talents in the country music industry. Lainey Wilson won Entertainer of the Year, while “Fast Car” by Luke Combs won Single of the Year and Bell Bottom Country by Lainey Wilson won Album of the Year. Tracy Chapman’s “Fast Car” also won Song of the Year. Chris Stapleton was named Male Vocalist of the Year, and Lainey Wilson became Female Vocalist of the Year. Old Dominion was announced as Vocal Group of the Year, and Brothers Osborne won the Vocal Duo of the Year category.
Jelly Roll won New Artist of the Year and Musician of the Year was awarded to Jenee Fleenor. Meanwhile, “Wait in the Truck” by HARDY (feat. Lainey Wilson) won Musical Event of the Year, and “Light On In The Kitchen” by Ashley McBryde won Music Video of the Year.
Hosted by Luke Bryan and Peyton Manning, the evening featured performances from numerous iconic artists such as Kelsea Ballerini, Post Malone, Kenny Chesney, and Dan + Shay. Congratulations to all the winners who were recognized for their exceptional talent.
