As anticipation builds for the release of “Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse,” a key Marvel producer has clarified a significant aspect of the production. Following the cliffhanger ending of “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse,” fans have eagerly awaited news about the third and final installment in Miles Morales’ animated trilogy. Speculation has been rampant regarding how the story will conclude in “Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse.”
While updates have been sparse, franchise writer and producer Chris Miller recently addressed a fan’s concern on social media platform X (formerly Twitter). The fan urged Sony Animation to avoid using generative AI in the film’s production. Miller responded definitively, stating, “There is no generative AI in Beyond the Spider-Verse.”
Currently, Sony has not set a release date for “Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse.” The exact stage of production remains uncertain, especially in the aftermath of the 2023 strikes that affected the industry. Reports suggest that voice recordings by the Spider-Verse actors are underway, but it is unclear if they have been completed.
