Jordan Peele may soon join the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), according to a recent report. As Marvel Studios advances through Phase 5 of its Multiverse Saga, they are nearing the next two Avengers movies. The latter, “Avengers: Secret Wars,” is expected to serve as a soft reboot for the franchise.
Peele recently met with Marvel Studios to discuss potential collaboration on an MCU movie. Peele has become a prominent director in recent years, known for major hits like “Get Out,” “Us,” and “Nope.” He is currently working on his fourth, yet-to-be-disclosed project.
While no specific title was mentioned in the report, it is possible that Peele’s involvement could be for a Phase 6 film. Several projects in Phase 6 are still without directors, and multiple slots in the Phase 6 slate remain unannounced, which could have been the focus of Peele’s meeting with Marvel Studios.
