Marvel Launches New Red Tape Series

by Barbara

Marvel Comics is expanding its mature-themed lineup with the introduction of Blade: Red Band, a forthcoming five-issue series slated to debut in October. The new narrative arc follows Blade in the aftermath of Blood Hunt, delving into his identity and the lingering effects of recent trials. Helmed by writer Bryan Edward Hill and featuring artwork by C.F. Villa, the series promises a deep exploration of Blade’s character amidst a gritty narrative backdrop.

Marvel’s initiative includes releasing both standard and Red Band editions of the Blood Hunt crossover event (recently confirmed as print-only), underscoring their commitment to diverse storytelling experiences. Additionally, the publisher is gearing up to launch the ongoing Red Band Werewolf by Night series in August, further solidifying their embrace of more mature themes within their comic book universe.
