Recent Star Wars projects have shifted focus. The series Ahsoka introduced Grand Admiral Thrawn (Lars Mikkelsen) as a new antagonist, moving the conflict away from the Mandalorians. Characters like Carson Teva (Paul Sun-Hyung Lee) have been reassigned to New Republic security, further distancing the storyline from Mandalore.
