Matt Rife, the 28-year-old stand-up comedian, and Jessica Lord, 25, have decided to part ways after their relationship naturally came to an end in March.
The insiders revealed that following their split, Rife has not pursued any new romantic relationships. Instead, he is fully focused on his upcoming 2024 comedy tour, which he recently resumed after canceling shows at Indiana University in May due to a last-minute medical issue.
Rife and Lord officially began dating in June 2023, nearly a year after meeting in Mississippi in 2022. Their relationship began shortly after Rife ended his involvement with “Pretty Little Liars” star Lucy Hale.
In his romantic history, Rife notably dated actress Kate Beckinsale when she was 43 and he was 21, describing their relationship as “complicated” with many “ups and downs” .
Last December, YouTuber Brooke Schofield shared her experience of a challenging breakup with Rife on Tana Mongeau’s “Cancelled” podcast, where she detailed discovering alleged infidelities involving approximately 20 women. Schofield recounted attempting to discuss the situation with Rife, only to find that he had blocked her number.
The split between Rife and Lord appears to have been amicable, marking a new chapter for both in their personal lives and careers.
