Barbie Celebrates 65th Anniversary with Exclusive Exhibition at London

Lucy Shelley, tech editor for Campaign, received an exclusive preview tour from Krista Berger, senior vice-president of Barbie and head of dolls at Mattel. Together, they explored the exhibition, tracing the evolution of the iconic Barbie brand over the decades.

During their walkthrough, Berger and Shelley delved into various themes including inclusivity, consumerism, sustainability, and the influence of Barbie in cinema. They candidly discussed how the brand has navigated criticism, adapted its strategies, and even explored the imaginative concept of sending Barbie into space.
