Renowned actor Song Joong-ki, known for his role in ‘Vincenzo,’ has announced some heartwarming news: he and his wife, Katie Louise Saunders, are anticipating the arrival of their second child. The couple, who exchanged vows in January 2023, already welcomed their first child later that year.
HighZium Studio, Song Joong-ki’s agency, confirmed the news to a South Korean news outlet, stating, “Song Joong-ki and his wife are expecting their second child. Details such as the birth timing and the baby’s gender are private matters and will not be disclosed.”
Katie Louise Saunders, a former banker and British actress, has maintained a relatively private life since marrying Song Joong-ki. Their relationship became public in December 2022 when Song Joong-ki announced their engagement. The couple occasionally shares glimpses of their family life through social media and public appearances.
Song Joong-ki’s recent projects include a role in the Netflix film ‘My Name is Loh Kiwan’ and an upcoming appearance in ‘Bogota: City of the Lost.’ He also made a cameo in the popular K-drama ‘Queen of Tears,’ starring Kim Soo-hyun and Kim Ji-won.
