Lisa Hannigan, renowned Irish musician and vocalist, has been announced as the next artist set to grace the stage at Cloughjordan Amphitheatre. Hannigan, known for her multifaceted career spanning music, singing, composition, and voice acting, initially gained prominence as part of Damien Rice’s band. Since embarking on her solo journey in 2007, she has released three acclaimed albums: Sea Sew (2008), Passenger (2011), and At Swim (2016), garnering award nominations in both Ireland and the United States.
Aaron Dessner of The National, noted for his recent successes producing Taylor Swift’s albums, played a pivotal role in Hannigan’s career by producing her album At Swim. Their collaboration extended further as Hannigan contributed backing vocals to The National’s Sleep Well Beast and featured prominently on four tracks of I Am Easy to Find. Additionally, she contributed as an additional artist on First Two Pages of Frankenstein.
Lisa Hannigan is scheduled to perform at Cloughjordan Amphitheatre on Sunday, August 18. Tickets are available for purchase online at eventbrite.ie, priced at €30 each.
