Surviving the ordeal, Kate reluctantly joins forces with fellow storm chaser Javi (Anthony Ramos) five years later, prompted by the opportunity to test new tracking equipment with outfit Storm Pro.
In Oklahoma, Kate meets Tyler Owens (Glen Powell), a charismatic “cowboy scientist” known for his social media prowess and daring methods. Despite initial wariness, Kate and Tyler forge an uneasy alliance amidst the chaos of tornado season.
