The Gang, a renowned game developer celebrated for its immersive gaming experiences, has announced an exciting collaboration with Universal Products & Experiences, DreamWorks Animation, and Universal Pictures. Together, they are set to introduce players to the enchanting realms of Shrek’s swamp through a brand-new adventure on the popular gaming platform Roblox.
Titled “Shrek Swamp Tycoon,” this newly launched game marks Roblox’s first official foray into the Shrek universe. Players are invited to explore Shrek’s iconic swamp, interact with its vibrant inhabitants, and immerse themselves in the beloved world of the animated film. By collecting coins and uncovering hidden platforms, players can craft their own bespoke maps, recreating pivotal locations from the movie such as Shrek’s cottage and Gingy’s Gingerbread House.
Adding to the excitement, players can also purchase user-generated content items and character heads of their favorite Shrek personas, including Shrek himself, Fiona, and Donkey. Upon completing the full experience, players unlock exclusive features and rewards within the game.

This collaboration is just the beginning of a larger initiative between The Gang and Universal Products & Experiences. Their partnership aims to bring more of DreamWorks Animation’s cherished franchises to Roblox, with plans for a summer launch of “Kung Fu Panda: Hero Showdown.” Inspired by the beloved Kung Fu Panda films, this upcoming combat game will enable players to execute martial arts maneuvers as iconic characters like Po, Shifu, and Tai Lung. As players progress through battle arenas set in Juniper City and Gongmen City, they can earn rewards and enhance their combat skills.
