Based on the 2014 British documentary of the same name, directed by Mike Brett and Steve Jamison, the film tells the story of American Samoa’s football team, which was originally said to be the worst team in the world, but continues to struggle. Finally broke through in the 2014 World Cup.
While the team achieved great results, the documentary also won the Best Documentary Award at the British Independent Film Awards.
