As August unfolds, Netflix subscribers will need to bid farewell to several popular titles. Among the notable departures are Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man trilogy and Andrew Garfield’s Amazing Spider-Man films. Fans of the friendly neighborhood superhero will have until the end of the month to enjoy these classics before they leave the streaming platform.
In addition to Spider-Man, viewers will lose access to the critically acclaimed Everything Everywhere All At Once. This film, featuring Michelle Yeoh as an overburdened laundromat owner who becomes an unexpected hero in a multiverse crisis, will no longer be available after August 22. For those interested in another powerful performance, The Woman King—with Viola Davis leading an all-female warrior group to defend the African kingdom of Dahomey—will also exit Netflix on August 12.
Light-hearted fare will also be leaving the platform. Paddington, the charming film directed by Paul King, will no longer be available after August 13. This whimsical adventure features the beloved bear in a series of delightful escapades.
Other titles set to depart include Shawn Mendes’ Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile, the Academy Award-nominated Marcel the Shell with Shoes On, and the coming-of-age film The Edge of Seventeen.
