The Academy of Country Music (ACM) has revealed the first lineup of performers for the 17th Academy of Country Music Honors. Among the stars set to take the stage are seven-time ACM Award winner Eric Church, nine-time winner Vince Gill, two-time winner Emmylou Harris, 11-time winner Tyler Hubbard, three-time winners Jamey Johnson and Ashley McBryde, two-time winner Darius Rucker, and 15-time winner Keith Urban, who was also named Entertainer of the Year in 2018.
These renowned artists will pay tribute to this year’s honorees, including Walt Aldridge, Tony Brown, Luke Bryan, Alan Jackson, Shannon Sanders, Lainey Wilson, and Trisha Yearwood.
The ACM Honors, often described as the “Country Music Industry’s favorite night,” is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, August 21, at the iconic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee. The event will be hosted by Carly Pearce, a four-time ACM Award winner returning for her fourth consecutive year, alongside Jordan Davis, the ACM Song of the Year winner. Further details on additional performers, presenters, and other event specifics will be announced in the coming weeks.
In addition to the performance lineup, the ACM Honors will celebrate Chris Stapleton, the Artist-Songwriter of the Year, Jessie Jo Dillon, the Songwriter of the Year, and winners of the Studio Recording and Industry Awards. Tyler Hubbard will not only perform but will also present the ACM Studio Recording and Industry Awards, which recognize categories such as Audio Engineer of the Year, Bass Player of the Year, Drummer of the Year, and Producer of the Year, among others.
Tickets for the ACM Honors are currently available through AXS, including limited VIP packages.
