Kehlani’s Ex-Partner Accuses of ‘Sex Cult’ Amid Custody Dispute

by Barbara

In a recent paternity petition filed in a bid for full custody of their daughter Adeya, Javaughn Young-White has made serious allegations against his former partner, singer Kehlani. The petition claims that Kehlani’s involvement in a so-called ‘sex cult’ is impacting their custody arrangement and the well-being of their young daughter.

Young-White, who had a relationship with Kehlani from 2018 to 2019 and was previously a guitarist for her, asserts that his name is missing from Adeya’s birth certificate. According to the petition, this omission is due to Kehlani’s choice to give birth at home under what Young-White describes as a ‘cult.’

“For the past five years, I have requested a copy of Adeya’s birth certificate and for my name to be added to it, but to no avail,” Young-White states in documents acquired by Page Six.

In addition to the birth certificate issue, Young-White claims that Kehlani temporarily prevented him from seeing Adeya due to a purported ‘vision’ from an individual he identifies as a ‘cult leader.’ This alleged vision reportedly portrayed Young-White as a danger to their daughter.

Kehlani and Young-White have been ordered to attend mediation sessions to resolve custody, visitation, and parenting plan issues. The court will intervene if the parties fail to reach an agreement.

Young-White has also alleged that Kehlani has refused to provide their daughter’s Social Security number, raising concerns about whether Adeya even has one. Furthermore, he has expressed worry about the influence of an alleged cult leader named Neto, who Young-White claims has been involved in ‘religious ceremonies’ with Adeya, including unsupervised time.

According to Young-White, Neto has been accused of sexual assault and has had significant control over Kehlani’s actions and decisions regarding their daughter. Young-White’s concerns extend to other individuals in the purported cult, whom he claims have had unsupervised interactions with Adeya, including bathing her while under the influence of psychedelic drugs.

In his paternity petition, Young-White seeks not only full custody but also child support from Kehlani, citing a significant disparity in their financial situations. He has requested that Kehlani undergo a psychological evaluation for bipolar disorder, though the basis for this request is not clear.

The custody dispute has drawn public attention, with Kehlani previously speaking positively about Young-White during a 2021 Facebook Watch special. At that time, Kehlani expressed gratitude for their co-parenting relationship, noting their strong friendship and mutual support for each other’s parenting abilities.

As the legal battle continues, both parties are expected to navigate mediation to reach a resolution concerning Adeya’s custody and care.
