Millie Bobby Brown will star in the film adaptation of the comic book “The Electric State.”
Directed by the Russo Brothers, [Avengers 4: Endgame] screenwriters Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely jointly wrote the script, and Universal Pictures funded it.

The story takes place in a brand new 1997, where after technology collapses, humans are isolated in their respective VR headsets, battling a strange giant combat drone. A runaway teenage girl (Millie) and her robot travel the West Coast of the United States. The film is expected to start shooting in late 2021 or early 2022.
