John Abraham and Sharvari Wagh’s film Vedaa, directed by Nikkhil Advani, is encountering significant challenges at the box office, displaying underwhelming performance across most regions. Although the film had a strong initial showing, it has struggled to maintain momentum and is currently trailing behind competitors, with the exception of certain areas in East India.
Despite promotions such as Buy One Get One (BOGO) offers, Vedaa has not managed to substantially increase its earnings. Forecasts suggest that the film will earn approximately Rs 2.7 crore on its fourth day, according to Sacnilk, resulting in a total collection of Rs 13.25 crore over the four-day period.
Produced by Zee Studios, Umesh Kr Bansal, Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani, and John Abraham, with Minnakshi Das serving as co-producer, Vedaa also features Abhishek Banerjee and Tamannaah Bhatia in key roles. The film’s narrative follows a young woman, portrayed by Sharvari Wagh, who confronts and challenges an oppressive system, while Abhishek Banerjee plays the role of a scheming antagonist. John Abraham stars as her protector, emerging as an unexpected ally in her quest for justice.
