In its August 2024 shareholder presentation, Disney outlined ten major films slated for release in 2025. The lineup includes four Marvel Studios productions, the highly anticipated “Zootopia 2,” and the newly titled “Avatar: Fire and Ash.”

1. Captain America: Brave New World – February 14, 2025

The latest installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, “Captain America: Brave New World,” will see Anthony Mackie reprise his role as Sam Wilson. After facing multiple production challenges, including title changes and reshoots, the film is set to kick off Marvel’s 2025 slate. Directed by Julius Onah, the movie features a star-studded cast, including Danny Ramirez, Carl Lumbly, Liv Tyler, and Harrison Ford in his MCU debut.

3. The Amateur – April 11, 2025

6. The Fantastic Four: First Steps – July 25, 2025

“The Fantastic Four: First Steps,” directed by Matt Shakman, reboots Marvel’s First Family with Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards and Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm. The film is set in a retro-futuristic period and is highly anticipated following its lengthy development.

7. Tron: Ares – October 10, 2025

The third installment in the “Tron” series, “Tron: Ares” continues from 2010’s “Tron: Legacy.” Directed by Joachim Rønning, it features Jeff Bridges reprising his role and introduces new cast members including Jared Leto and Jodie Turner-Smith.

8. Blade – November 7, 2025

The reboot of “Blade,” starring Mahershala Ali, has faced numerous production hurdles since its announcement in 2019. Despite ongoing challenges, Disney and Marvel Studios are still aiming for a November 2025 release, though a delay into 2026 remains a possibility.

9. Zootopia 2 – November 26, 2025
