by Barbara

Korean thriller film “A Girl With Closed Eyes,” set for its market launch at the Toronto International Film Festival and world premiere at October’s Busan festival, has appointed Finecut as its world sales representative. The film, directed by Chun Sunyoung and currently in advanced post-production, explores a murder investigation involving a suspect and a detective with a shared history. The film’s lead roles are played by Kim Minha and Moon Choi.

Finecut also represents “By the Stream,” a new project by renowned Korean director Hong Sangsoo, which won the Best Performance Award at Locarno and will be featured in Toronto’s Centrepiece section. Additionally, Finecut’s Korean horror-thriller “Noise” is scheduled to premiere at the Sitges Fantasy Festival and have a market screening at Toronto Industry Select.
