by Barbara

Alison Brie has been cast as the villainous Evil-Lyn in the upcoming live-action adaptation of “Masters of the Universe,” produced by Amazon MGM Studios and Mattel Films. The announcement marks Brie’s entry into a high-profile role opposite Nicholas Galitzine, who will portray the iconic hero He-Man, and Camila Mendes, who takes on the role of Teela, the captain of the royal guard and occasional love interest of He-Man.

The film, set for a theatrical release on June 5, 2026, will focus on Prince Adam of Eternia, who transforms into the powerful He-Man to protect his planet from the dark sorcerer Skeletor. Evil-Lyn, a key antagonist in the series and Skeletor’s second-in-command, wields a formidable magic wand adorned with a crystal orb. Plot details remain tightly guarded.
