Sony Pictures is gearing up for the release of the new trailer for Venom: The Last Dance, scheduled to hit screens on October 25, 2024. The full trailer is set to be unveiled this Thursday, September 12.
In this final installment of the Venom trilogy, Tom Hardy reprises his role as Eddie Brock, also known as Venom, one of Marvel’s most iconic and intricate characters. The film continues the saga of Eddie and Venom as they face relentless pursuit from both their enemies and allies, leading them to a critical and devastating choice that will mark the conclusion of their story.
The film features an ensemble cast including Chiwetel Ejiofor, Juno Temple, Rhys Ifans, Peggy Lu, Alanna Ubach, and Stephen Graham. Directed by Kelly Marcel, who also penned the screenplay with Tom Hardy, Venom: The Last Dance is produced by Avi Arad, Matt Tolmach, Amy Pascal, Kelly Marcel, Tom Hardy, and Hutch Parker, with Joe Caracciolo Jr. serving as executive producer.
As part of Sony’s Spider-Man Universe, the film follows the previous entries: Venom (2018), Venom: Let There Be Carnage (2021), Morbius (2022), and Madame Web (2024). The original Venom, released in October 2018, was a major box office success, earning $856 million globally, with $213.5 million from North American theaters and $642.5 million from international markets. Its sequel, Venom: Let There Be Carnage, debuted in October 2021 and grossed $506.9 million worldwide, including $213.5 million from domestic theaters and $293.3 million from overseas.
