The Killers Announce 20th Anniversary Tour of Australia

In celebration of the 20th anniversary of their acclaimed debut album Hot Fuss, The Killers have unveiled a surprise Australian tour. The Las Vegas indie rock band will commence their tour in November, marking their first performances in Townsville, followed by shows in Sydney, Brisbane, and Melbourne through early December.

The tour, titled ‘Rebel Diamonds’, will feature a greatest hits set spanning their seven-album discography. Fans in Sydney and Melbourne can look forward to additional performances dedicated to a full rendition of Hot Fuss, which includes the iconic track ‘Mr. Brightside’ and other special surprises.

Released on June 7, 2004, Hot Fuss quickly climbed to the top of the ARIA Charts, becoming a defining album of the early 2000s indie rock scene. The Killers, fronted by Brandon Flowers, blended influences from The Strokes, 1980s British New Wave, and arena rock icons like U2 and Bruce Springsteen to create enduring hits such as ‘Somebody Told Me’, ‘All These Things That I’ve Done’, and ‘Smile Like You Mean It’.

‘Mr. Brightside’ remains a perennial favorite, consistently featured on playlists and charts, and has held a spot on Spotify’s Top Songs Australia chart for over 350 weeks.

Thursday, December 12 – Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne, VIC (Rebel Diamonds show, all ages)

Friday, December 13 – Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne, VIC (Hot Fuss show, all ages)

Tickets will go on sale at 4 PM local time on Thursday, September 12, with a pre-sale starting on September 10.
