Indian film star Taapsee Pannu and writer-producer Kanika Dhillon are set to collaborate once again on the Netflix original action-thriller film, “Gandhari.” The project will be helmed by acclaimed director Devashish Makhija, known for his previous work, including the festival circuit favorite “Joram.”

Taapsee Pannu reflected on the project, stating, “There’s a special kind of magic when Kanika and I work together. ‘Gandhari’ will explore new emotional depths and challenge me in ways I haven’t experienced in a long time. Returning to action with a script as compelling as this, especially one featuring a vengeful mother, feels like a perfect fit. Our collaboration with Netflix allows us to tell bold and impactful stories, reaching a global audience.”

Kanika Dhillon echoed this sentiment, saying, “Following the success of ‘Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba,’ reuniting with Taapsee for ‘Gandhari’ feels like coming home creatively. This film delves into a mother’s fierce love and unyielding resolve. We’re excited to present this raw, action-packed thriller, and Netflix’s support gives us the freedom to push creative boundaries.”

“Gandhari” promises to be a powerful addition to Pannu and Dhillon’s growing list of successful collaborations, and fans are eagerly anticipating its release.
