Rwanda’s television landscape has welcomed a new addition with the debut of “Kaliza Wa Kalisa,” a series now airing on Zacu TV. This fresh offering is an adaptation of Zee Entertainment’s Indian show “Kareena Kareena,” representing a significant shift from traditional Rwandan TV formats.

The series, produced by Wilson Misago—known for his work on hits like “Seburikoko,” “Inshuti-Friends,” and “Shuwa Dilu”—brings a new dimension to local television. It follows the life of Kaliza, a young woman navigating the challenges of Kigali with wit and charm. Divine Gatesi Kayonga, renowned for her roles in “The Bishop’s Family,” “Maya,” and “Behind,” portrays Kaliza, showcasing her dynamic acting abilities and dedication.
