‘GOAT’ Surges Towards Rs 200 Crore in Domestic Box Office

Thalapathy Vijay’s latest film, The Greatest of All Time (GOAT), directed by Venkat Prabhu, continues to perform strongly at the box office. The spy thriller, which premiered on September 5, is on track to surpass Rs 200 crore in domestic earnings. The film saw a substantial global opening, accumulating Rs 126 crore on its first day.

Despite a dip in collections on September 11, with earnings of approximately Rs 8 crore nett in India, the film’s seven-day total stands at Rs 170.75 crore. The decline is expected to reverse as the weekend approaches. The Tamil version of GOAT recorded a 27.80% occupancy rate on September 11, with significant contributions from evening and night shows.

The film, produced by AGS Entertainment with a substantial budget of Rs 380 crore, features Vijay in dual roles alongside Prashanth, Prabhudheva, and other notable actors. The technical team includes composer Yuvan Shankar Raja, cinematographer Siddhartha Nuni, and editor Venkat Raajen.
