Spider One, known for “Allegoria” and “Bury the Bride,” returns to directing with his latest horror film, “Little Bites.” Produced by Cher and Chaz Bono, the film’s official trailer was released today by RLJE Films and Shudder, offering a glimpse into a chilling narrative centered on motherhood.
“Little Bites” will premiere in theaters and on VOD on October 4. The film stars Heather Langenkamp, Barbara Crampton, Bonnie Aarons (known for “The Nun”), and Krsy Fox. Produced by OneFox Productions, the plot follows Mindy (Fox), a widow and mother who sacrifices her own well-being to protect her daughter Alice (Elizabeth Caro) from a flesh-eating monster named Agyar (Jon Sklaroff). Mindy keeps Alice hidden with her grandmother (Aarons) while the creature preys on her.
The trailer showcases a menacing, flesh-chomping monster terrorizing a mother and her child. The cast also includes Chaz Bono, Lyndsi LaRose, Mark Kelly, Christopher Alvarenga, Angel Melanson, Elle Riot Fox, and James A. Janisse and Chelsea Rebecca from the YouTube channel Dead Meat.
Spider One described the production as intensely challenging yet ultimately rewarding, noting it as one of the most fulfilling creative experiences of his career. Cher, an Emmy, Grammy, and Oscar winner, serves as an executive producer alongside Chaz Bono, Ian Hoge, Tyler Connolly, Wendy Berry, and Mark Berry.
“Little Bites” will debut at Fantastic Fest in Austin, Texas, next week before its October release.
