Quiver Distribution has released the official trailer for its upcoming action horror film, Seven Cemeteries. The movie stars Danny Trejo, known for his roles in Machete Kills, Anaconda, From Dusk Till Dawn, Halloween, Predators, and 3 From Hell. Trejo plays a recent parolee who resurrects his former crew to tackle new challenges.
The film, directed by John Gulager and co-written by Gulager and Joel Soisson, is set to hit theaters and digital platforms on October 11. The cast features Samantha Ashley (The Curse), Efren Ramirez (Mad Families), Vincent M. Ward (The Walking Dead), Lew Temple (Unstoppable), Richard Esteras (The Bear), and Maria Canals-Barrera (Wizards of Waverly Place). The project is produced by Joel Soisson and Talia Bella under Rebellium Films.
The plot centers on Trejo’s character, who enlists the help of a Mexican witch to bring his old team back to life in a bid to save a woman’s ranch from a dangerous drug lord.
