The highly anticipated trailer for “Den of Thieves 2: Pantera,” the sequel to the 2018 heist thriller “Den of Thieves,” has officially dropped. Director and writer Christian Gudegast returns for this installment, featuring Gerard Butler reprising his role as Big Nick, who is now pursuing Donnie Wilson, portrayed by O’Shea Jackson Jr., across Europe.
In this sequel, Donnie becomes entangled with the perilous world of diamond thieves and the notorious Panther mafia as they orchestrate an ambitious heist at the world’s largest diamond exchange.
Joining Butler and Jackson Jr. are an ensemble cast including Michael Bisping, Salvatore Esposito, Orli Shuka, and others. The first film, released by STXfilms in January 2018, garnered a mixed reception but performed well at the box office, earning approximately $80.5 million against a $30 million budget. “Den of Thieves 2: Pantera” is set to hit U.S. theaters on January 15, 2025, under Lionsgate Films.
