Director John Gulager, known for his work on the Feast trilogy and Piranha 3DD, is set to make his return to the horror genre with the upcoming film Se7en Cemeteries, distributed by Quiver Distribution.
Slated for release in select theaters and on VOD on October 11, 2024, Se7en Cemeteries features veteran actor Danny Trejo in a thrilling role. The official trailer showcases Trejo raising an army of the undead, hinting at the film’s supernatural elements.
The plot follows a recent parolee, played by Trejo, who enlists the help of a Mexican witch to resurrect his former gang. Together, they aim to rescue a woman’s ranch from the clutches of a ruthless drug lord.
In addition to Trejo, the film boasts a talented cast including Sal Lopez, Samantha Ashley, Efren Ramirez, Vincent M. Ward, Lew Temple, Richard Esteras, and Maria Canals-Barrera. The screenplay was co-written by Joel Soisson and John Gulager.
