In the realm of cinema, the adage that a dream home can quickly turn into a nightmare is once again brought to life in the upcoming thriller Cellar Door. Starring Fast & Furious actress Jordana Brewster and Underworld’s Scott Speedman, the film reveals how seemingly perfect homes can harbor unsettling secrets.
The newly released trailer introduces Brewster and Speedman as a couple seeking to rebuild their lives following a miscarriage. Their hopes are bolstered when a wealthy benefactor, portrayed by Laurence Fishburne, gifts them an extravagant home. However, the gift comes with a chilling stipulation: they must never, under any circumstances, open the cellar door.
The central question remains: can they resist the urge to satisfy their curiosity? And if they do decide to open it, what terrifying revelations await them?
Cellar Door is directed by Vaughn Stein, known for his work on Inheritance, Every Breath You Take, and the Margot Robbie thriller Terminal. The cast also features Addison Timlin.
