Ahead of its streaming debut this Friday, Apple TV+ has unveiled the final trailer for “Wolfs,” an action comedy directed by Jon Watts, known for “Spider-Man: No Way Home.” The film features Academy Award-winners George Clooney and Brad Pitt as two fixers whose mundane evening takes an unexpected turn into chaos.
According to the synopsis, Clooney portrays a professional fixer enlisted to cover up a high-profile crime. When Pitt’s character, a second fixer, arrives, the duo—described as “lone wolves”—is compelled to collaborate, leading to a night that spirals out of control in unforeseen ways.
“Wolfs” premiered at the 81st Venice International Film Festival earlier this month and had a limited theatrical release last weekend. It currently holds a 73% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes and a 63% on the Popcornmeter.
In addition to Clooney and Pitt, the film’s supporting cast includes Amy Ryan, Austin Abrams, Poorna Jagannathan, Richard Kind, Zlatko Burić, and Frances McDormand, another Academy Award-winner.
Jon Watts, who wrote and directed the film, is already discussing a potential sequel featuring both stars. He noted, “Apple’s been talking to me about a sequel since I turned in my cut in December 2023. I absolutely did not write the movie with a sequel in mind, but it was very fun to make.”
“Wolfs” will debut exclusively on Apple TV+ on September 27.
